Dublin Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt Delights Hundreds
Despite brisk winds and chilly temperatures, the Dublin Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt was a smashing success this morning, drawing in over 200 eager community members and children to hunt for over 10,000 colorful candy-filled eggs. Held at the Coffman Park Pavilion, the egg hunt boasted an abundance of eggs, a delightful pancake breakfast, a bike raffle of 2 youth bikes donated by Trek Bicycle Dublin, and even a cotton candy machine spinning sweet treats!
Everyone at the event was greeted by an egg-cellent guest, the Easter Bunny, who was hopping around, spreading joy, and posing for photos throughout the event. The event’s highlight was undoubtedly the egg hunt itself, which saw all the children in 3 different age groups make 10,000 eggs disappear in under 5 minutes! All the children left pretty “hoppy” with all the tasty treats they got to take home with them!
Despite the biting cold, the sense of community and fun prevailed, with families cozying up by the fires and braving the cold to join in this beloved annual tradition. The event’s success was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Dublin Kiwanis Club, as well as the enthusiastic support of the local community.
For those who missed out, don’t worry the Dublin Kiwanis Club is already planning for next year’s event, promising more eggs, surprises, and warm memories to be made.
